Modern Website Design
To understand the present content architecture and the requirements of the website redesign, we held multiple meetings with our client stakeholders. From the beginning, the new website design incorporated all of the key content from the legacy website and was fully responsive for mobile devices.
Enhanced Site Search
Our client’s website users require the ability to search for and download PDF and Word documents to assist with registering vessels or reviewing regulatory information. Using Apache SOLR, we created a new website search with the ability to index and retrieve content from PDF and Word documents. We also implemented a filter that made it easier for users to search for specific content such as procedures and registration forms.
Our client’s website is rich in content and complex, we selected Drupal as the new CMS for our client’s website due to its ability to manage custom content types. After creating the new custom content types within Drupal, we migrated their content from the legacy website to the new CMS and content structure.
