Leveraging AI to Elevate Your eCommerce Experiences

If you’ve been to any tech conferences lately, you know they’re all AI, all the time. Acquia Engage in Boston this year was no different.

I was fortunate enough to be part of the conversation with my keynote presentation titled “The Forefront of Innovation: AI-Powered Content Generation & Personalization from Acquia and Credera.” In that session, I showed how Credera’s innovative Commerce Factory solution leverages a powerful data infrastructure product call Omni, in conjunction with Acquia CDPAcquia Personalization, and generative AI to improve the customer experience and drive conversions.

That word “innovative” is actually in the soul of Credera. We pride ourselves on creating new solutions, new integrations, and we invest heavily in these types of endeavors. We’ve been working with our partners and sister agencies on several ways GenAI can enhance solutions that we've already built. Commerce Factory is one of those solutions.

Content + Commerce + AI

Credera developed Commerce Factory to connect commercetools with Acquia’s CMS to deliver a fully composable content & commerce solution that can be integrated with a variety of other tools and technologies, including Acquia’s tools from its Drupal Cloud and Marketing Cloud.

We’ve now incorporated AI to elevate that experience. Our sister agency Annalect has a product called Omni that holds more than 11 petabytes of first-, second- and third-party data. That's 440 times all the books in the Library of Congress — it’s a massive amount of data!

We’ve worked with Acquia and Annalect to harness that data and leverage it to significantly grow eCommerce conversions and shopping cart size.

We all know that the greater the volume of relevant data it can learn from, the smarter and more helpful AI is going to be. It's hard to imagine a bigger set of data to enhance your customer records than Omni’s. It's also hard to imagine a more relevant data set, as Omni has aggregated data from companies such as Amazon and Walmart to provide purchase behavior that fuels things like “You may also like” recommendations.

Through Acquia’s CDP, that associative power can be yours. The generative AI creates complex segmentations and predictions to steer users to the products they’ll love. We aren’t guessing at what the customer wants; we have the most data-driven idea of what they want, making recommendations they didn’t even realize they should have considered and delighting them so they’ll never need to go anywhere else. Personalization has never been so targeted.

The Bottom Line

The future is here. Data is more important than it’s ever been. We now live in a world of AI, and we want it to be the best it can be. AcquiaOmni, and Credera are driving that innovation forward and are excited to work with our clients to see those results grow their businesses.
